Richard Perlmutter

Richard Perlmutter is a singer, songwriter and producer who plays piano, guitar, mandolin and ukulele.  He is a 4x Grammy Nominee for his work as writer, producer and vocalist for Beethoven’s Wig. He also performs and records with his group The Ukulele Scramble. His two solo albums are Tin Pan Alley and Hot Diggity, and in 2019 a new album was released, Before Beethoven’s Wig.  It’s a compilation of Perlmutter’s “Top 10” favorite songs from his two solo albums.  Perlmutter has produced albums for other artists, including the first album for the Grammy award winning group, Nickel Creek called Little Cowpoke.  And an album for Victoria Jackson of Saturday Night Live called Ukulele Lady. He also produced Hear and Gone in 60 Seconds, an album featuring 29 of the top artists in family entertainment including Grammy Lifetime Achievement Winners, Ella Jenkins and Tom Paxton.
